Statement from the Board of Trustees concerning the COVID-19 outbreak

The Board of Trustees has carefully considered our actions in response to the coronavirus outbreak. We have decided it would be wise to follow the advice of medical experts and suspend our worship service gatherings until it is safe for all of us to resume. We therefore will have no meetings or services beginning this Sunday through the month of April. We have selected a target date of May 3 – the first Sunday of May – to resume our worship services.

We will continue to monitor the situation and assess our ministry needs in light of this pandemic, and update this site no later than April 15 to keep you informed. We are considering how we can best continue to offer the spiritual and personal nourishment our congregation seeks through pastoral care and perhaps offering recorded or printed sermons.

Our prayers and thoughts are for your health and safety through these uncertain times. Please know that you can reach out to our pastoral care ministers or board members with any questions or concerns.

In faith and love,

Joe Kirby President
Mary Laing Secretary
Gaye Esperson Treasurer
Rita Foust Member at Large
Elizabeth Bacon-Smith Member at Large
Rev. Jack Ford Member at Large
