Our Sunday services are similar in form to a Protestant service which includes, but is not limited to, hymns, readings, music, an offering, and a sermon. A Worship Assistant works with the speaker and puts together the order of service. Instead of a printed order of service, congregants are presented with a multimedia presentation that includes imagery, music, video and whatever other creative items the Worship Assistant is inspired to include. The speaker of the day provides the sermon and any other elements they wish to contribute.
Worship starts promptly at 10:00 am and lasts approximately an hour. After the service, there is the opportunity to mix with the other congregants and talk with the speaker.
(This is not happening at the moment. We will update as this changes. Every fourth Sunday of the month we hold a pot luck after the service. Do not worry if you forget to bring a dish; there is always enough for everyone.)
Once a quarter there is a congregational meeting to allow for the Board of Trustees and the congregation to communicate information directly with each other. This is also the time when the congregation decides who will be the next benefactor of our tithe.
Please check the calendar for specific events and scheduled speakers.
